There doesn't appear to be a universally-accepted definition of what constitutes a planetary parade. Nevertheless, I think I know one when I see one.
A parade is a visual phenomenon that occurs when planets of the Solar System appear in a smaller sector of the sky at the same time as seen by observers from earth. To be clear, they are not equidistant from earth; the alignment is an illusion to the viewer.
Tomorrow morning, a parade of six planets will be lined-up with the crescent moon above the eastern horizon about a half-hour before sunrise.
If you have to get up early, for any reason, grab a pair of binoculars for this...
