It's not just me; social media - Face Book in particular - is a vessel for disgruntled and aggrieved individuals.  Fortunately, they are in the minority.  Nevertheless, a waste of valuable bandwidth.  Clickbait.    

Since the beginning of this year I have endeavored to be a better person.  Not a Mother Theresa - just better.  And as a consequence I truthfully don't have very many grievances.  I have opinions and am not hesitant to speak truth to power; but that's not the same as full-blown grievance.

As a public service and in the interest of spreading positivity on the interweb here are some recent trail camera photos from our woods.

The little ones have revealed themselves in the past several weeks with the resident lady whitetails dropping their fawns.

But the trail cameras are chock-full of photos and video - resplendent in their spotted camouflage....

Who doesn't like to see does and their fawns?  All of that cuteness is just too much to stand.  That is - of course - until you realize that this is tomorrow's dinner on the hoof.  But I digress.

Mama and the Twins

It has been awhile since I have served-up a heaping helping of whitetail cuteness.  The fawns are beginning to lose their spots so you better enjoy the newborn camouflage while you can....

The resident trail cameras have ben churning-out a steady inventory of nice wildlife photos. And as a consequence I wish to continue with a weekly dose of whitetail cuteness.

I have no idea what spooked this fawn but there is absolutely no mistaking the athletic leap and characteristic flag of that white tail as an alarm response.  This photo is courtesy of our Snapshot Wisconsin DNR trail cam.
