Happy Fourth

Dinner tonight at Joe Rouer's in Luxemburg.  Cheeseburgers, fries - washed down with a frosty Little Soldier American Amber Ale - Ahnapee Brewery, Algoma.

Dishing-up burgers, fries, wings, booyah, chili and chicken and fish sandwiches since 1952 it's a local favorite.

Hamburger is ground fresh daily by Marchant's in Brussels.  And - coincidentally - they were so packed with customers tonight the burger inventory sold-out!

Facebook page will learn you more as well as the Road Tips blog post.

A trip to Algoma for some beach time also means ice cream afterwards at North Water Bakery and Deli and a visit to Bearcat's Fish House for a fresh salmon fillet to throw on the grill and some smoked whitefish for cocktail hour.
