The Garden Chronicles

One of life’s simple pleasures is the garden carrot snack.

Check-out these garden-fresh tasty gems.

As a child the act of fetching a carrot from the garden, cleaning it with the garden hose and munching-it down is a fond memory. As an old guy it’s sure fun to indulge that memory.

Of course as an old guy I forgot the carrots I left on the grass near the hose reel.

The Labs ate them.

The Garden Chronicles

I am reminded that the onions have been curing in the machine shed for about a month already making it time to pull the remaining veggies.  I also wish things would dry out enough for one last rototilling of the garden before the freeze sets-in.  Alas, the soil is too wet already and there's more rain in the forecast for tonight.

Root vegetable kind of day here at The Platz.
