  2. On this particular evening we grilled 11 New York Strip Steaks – custom cut to a precise thickness of 2.25 inches and neatly trimmed.

    Add salad, baked potatoes, French bread and sautéed mushrooms.

    Since the turkey fryer had been used to cook a humongous batch of fish the previous evening we did two baskets of homemade onion rings for cocktail hour. Vidalias – cut thick.

    If my memory serves me correctly that was a Fess Parker red.
