Tommy Thompson vs. Russ Feingold?

Former Wisconsin Gov. and Health and Human Services Secretary Tommy Thompson is still considering a challenge to Sen. Russ Feingold (D).

    Not a fan of Tommy and wasn't living in the state for most of his tenure. I think he is the only one with the $$ and record to battle with Feingold, who has become quite petulant in his insulated seat. Russ did promise to only run for two terms way back when, which I guess now means running for two terms twice.

    I think Russ should be given the opportunity to find gainful employment in the private sector.

    Tommy could be governor for life if he wanted.

    It will be interesting to see if he decides to take-on Russ.

    Rumor has Ted Kanavas jumping in if Tommy doesn't. He said he wasn't running for reelection with his state senate seat.
