Sunset On The Bay

Izzie emailed me this picture.

Rather characteristic of winter life on the peninsula - a village of ice shanties on the frozen waters of Green Bay.

Brutally cold when this shot was taken - we're sure that the ice drinkers were warm and snug in their shanties.

  1. Hey, Izzie's quite the photographer!
Thanks for sharing your "up north" beauty.

  2. He is rather talented with the camera isn't he?

Hey. Do you have ice drinkers on your lake?

  3. No ice drinkers on our lake, I think because it's so shallow. We do have a bunch of fishermen along the river, though, no matter the weather!
We also have WAG on our lake at this time of year...the Wisconsin Autosports Group...cool cars with studded tires doing time-trial racing.
    It's entertaining to watch them.
