Current and former elected officials, candidates for office, and media figures who are popularized in MAGA World have a history of pro-Putin comments.
Recently, they have decided that they should disparage Ukraine and Volodymyr Zelenskyy despite Russia’s invasion.
Of course some of them have walked back their comments after witnessing the raw brutality of
Putin’s war machine target innocent civilian noncombatants as he forces his genocide on Ukraine. (Sociopaths are cowards at heart).
Sadly, many still see Putin as someone to be admired.
The supply of Trump-Putin apologist material is seeming unlimited.

I gotta be honest with you, I don’t really care what happens to Ukraine one way or the other.

The scary part is the how these folks think of themselves of big brain scholar/philosophers. Just wait until they start throwing around labels like "The new Founding Fathers" or some other nonsense.
