The Garden Chronicles

When you live halfway between the equator and north pole the growing season is short.

Painfully short.

Nevertheless, conditions have been drier of late and I was able to get into the garden on Friday to till everything for the first time.

Sunday, I planted.

The first sowing of English peas, radishes, spinach and carrots.

Soil temperatures need to be a bit higher yet to continue.  This is a terrific start with some cool season tolerant veggies that will germinate and hopefully thrive.

Vive le Jardin Magnifique!
