Hors d'œuvres

Last night the granddaughter learned the fine art of making cucumber sandwiches.

And entertaining.

Rubschlager pumpernickel rye, cream cheese, topped with sliced garden cukes and dill from the kitchen garden.

Watched the sunset from the porch with a refreshing adult beverage.

Side note-

We think the problem of Phil the groundhog has been resolved.

  1. Ah, the cucumber sandwich, something that's commonly overlooked as a viable option. My husband serves them on a daily basis where he works and has converted many folks. Glad to hear your crops won't be wasted on Phil!
