Meal for an Owl

Photo taken by a trail camera with IR (infrared mode - no visible flash) of a bunny.

There were actually three photos.  A bunny, a blurry hopping bunny and this bunny.  It occurred to me that there is always the possibility of one of the cameras one day capturing a raptor pouncing on one of these members of the bottom of the food chain.

New Barn Floor

New concrete foundation for the old barn went in yesterday.  Malcore Concrete swooped-in out of nowhere 20 minutes before the truck arrived with a delivery of 9 1/2 yards of concrete.

Brood Flock

After having cone for the longest time without seeing a single poult all of a sudden they're showing-up regularly on the trail cameras.

Looks like two different ages here - an early hatch (larger poults) and a later hatch (smaller poults).

This is a popular location for catching turkey photos.  Same place the coyote was stalking them several weeks ago.

Brood Flock

The 2015 graduating class is growing-up.

Turkey poults are now larger than chickens and are actually looking like smaller versions of an adult bird.
