Recorded in 1967 at A&R Studios and Century Sound in New York City the Bang Masters were remixed from the original multi-track with a wider stereo spread and less compression. A compilation album was created and released by Columbia's Legacy Records imprint in 1991. That is when I acquired the CD.
This is an alternate version of the song included in the album. It is the sixth or a reported twenty-two takes before a final form was released in 1967 on Van Morrison's Blowin' Your Mind! album. I actually very much prefer this version and its guitar riffs.
