Jerry Miller was a songwriter, guitarist and vocalist best known as a founding member of the the band Moby Grape. Rolling Stone includes Miller at number 68 on their list of 100 greatest guitarists of all time.
Moby Grape emerged from the San Francisco psychedelic music scent and successfully merged elements of rock, pop, folk, blues and country music. Regrettably, the band self-destructed; although the album: Moby Grape resides at 124 on Rolling Stone's 500 greatest albums of all time.
Miller passed away July 20, 2024 at the age of 81.
