Trail Blazer

The latest edition of my favorite publication - Wisconsin Outdoor News - had an article that caught my eye.

The Wisconsin hunter safety program originated in 1967 in Dunn County. In 1985 the course was required for hunters born after 1972. Last year, 25,019 people completed a hunter safety class, and that number pushed the total number of hunter safety graduates past the 1 million mark.

I graduated from the program in 1968.  Looking at my license I can see I was number 8665.
