Bow Hunt Interruptus

I went out this afternoon with my bow to see if I might put some fresh venison on the table. It had been threatening rain but things looked OK when I left the house.

From the Park Bench Stand there was a nice view of the fall colors to both the north...

And the west...

The tamaracks are in their full golden glory.

Back at the house as it's pouring rain now.  Time for a fire in the wood burner and a glass of red wine...
