Taking Time to Smell the Flowers

The wildflowers are beginning the bloom.

It all begins with the Black-eyed Susan - Rudbeckia hirta.

A member of the aster family The seeds produced are a favorite of the goldfinches around here.

Next time you're out for a walk - take a cue from my Labs and take some time to stop and smell the flowers.
