As he did in an interview with NPR this week, Obama cited
an Economist and YouGov poll that showed 37 percent of Republicans with a
favorable view of Russian President Vladimir Putin, a leader Obama revealed
that he’d personally scolded and warned against more election hacking
interference during an encounter in China in September, and whom on Friday he
said runs a country slowly careening around the drain.
Not to mention all the blood on his hands in Syria, by
Obama’s account. Ronald Reagan would be
rolling over in his grave, Obama said.
If the 37 percent figure is factual - or even within the margin of error - I'm chagrined. The first and only GOP presidential campaign (and last candidate for president) I made a financial contribution to was Ronald Reagan.
Vlad Putin is a former head of the Soviet KGB. He is a stone cold killer.
If I had to hazard a guess Reagan would disapprove of getting chummy with the Dark Side. Some days I think the GOP has lost its mind...
Just saying, if HRC had won, and this news came out, there would be talks of a coup d'etat.
ReplyDeleteThe irony is that the electoral college has a chance today to show that they are still worth keeping around. But its nothing more than a club bootlicks and wannabes, so I doubt anything will come of it.
