Tweet of the Absurd

My morning routine has taken a new twist of late.  A humorous twist.  I arise, turn on the coffee, begin checking my news feeds, feed the dogs, walk the dogs, dispose of the bagged dog poop, return home and continue with coffee and news feeds.  If I  am lucky sometimes I am greeted by an early morning tweet storm.

It is always good to start your day with a smile on your face.  I think it will add years to my life.
Yesterday Tina Nguyen - reporter for The Hive, covering politics and the media published a piece in Vanity Fair titled: Trump Grill Could Be the Worst Restaurant in America.  She wrote in-part-

Trump Grill (which is occasionally spelled Grille on various pieces of signage). On one level, the Grill (or Grille), suggests the heights of plutocratic splendor—a steakhouse built into the basement of one’s own skyscraper.

There were flaccid, gray Szechuan dumplings with their flaccid, gray innards. And the hamburger tastes like an M.S.G.-flavored kitchen sponge lodged between two other sponges.

The bathrooms transport diners to the experience of desperately searching for toilet paper at a Venezuelan grocery store.

Not exactly high praise although in all fairness the drinks included a lot of booze and the taco bowl was judged to be adequate. To which the president-elect predictably responded in an early morning tweet-

Has anyone looked at the really poor numbers of @VanityFair Magazine. Way down, big trouble, dead! Graydon Carter, no talent, will be out!

The president-elect tweets the absurd.

But that's his right.

You can read the entire piece here.
