Just when you thought it was safe to go outside - brace yourself.
We're in for a cold stretch. The northern Rockies and northern Plains will face multiple days of
highs in the single digits and teens. Subfreezing highs will then spread
to the central Plains, Great Lakes and interior Northeast. That's right - the North Pole is heading south.
Chilly deer hunting weekend on tap - pack accordingly.
