In any event, this song is from their second album - Outside Looking In. The album's lead single - Only Love - climbed to #16 on the US Mainstream Rock charts.

Friday Music
Sammy Llanas and Kurt Neuman became acquainted while attending Waukesha South High School in 1977. Learning that they both shared similar musical interests they began composing songs together. By 1980 the BoDeans emerged. By early 1983 they began to break into Milwaukee's hipster music scene. My first brush was watching them perform on a flat bed trailer at a Liquid Johnny's Tailgate Party at County Stadium. I still have an autographed CD carton from their first album - Love and Hope and Sex and Dreams - purchased when they made an appearance at the Peaches record store located at 76th and Fond Du Lac in Milwaukee.
In any event, this song is from their second album - Outside Looking In. The album's lead single - Only Love - climbed to #16 on the US Mainstream Rock charts.
