A couple of weeks ago I finished Captain Metz’s first book - Sea Stories.
This week I completed this compilation of short stories.
Written
in a rambling conversational style; in no particular chronological
fashion Metz shares tales about his time on the Great Lakes from the
routine to the tragic. He began his career as a deckhand and rose
through the ranks to Shipmaster.
Born in Milwaukee he sailed more than a half million miles in his Great Lakes career at a breakneck speed of 10 to 12 knots.
The book from the library was a signed copy.
Bonus.
