Tracks
Pheasant hunting ended on the last day of 2014. Which would explain the abundance of pheasant tracks in the snow.

Holidaze - A Porkulous Meal
Step by step instructions for a terrific stuffed pork loin.
Butterfly a couple of pork loins and pound out flat.
Combine cream cheese, apricot jam, proscuitto, jalepenos and spices. Spread generously over the flattened pork loin.
Roll-up and wrap bacon around the entire rolled loin. Pin everything together with toothpicks.
Sear on high heat.
Transfer to a roasting pan and bake at 450 degrees for 40 minutes. Remove, cover and allow to rest for another 15 minutes.
Cut and serve.
Pork stuffed with pork, wrapped in pork. Fabulous!

Workhorse
Commonly known as an all terrain vehicle (ATV) or four wheeler this versatile machine is frequently found on a farm, ranch or cabin in the woods.
Ranchers round-up cattle and repair fences. Tree farmers haul equipment. Hunters fetch dead deer. Ice drinkers drag their shanty, tackle and beer. They're really quite indispensible.
Our own Polaris is often pressed into service to haul firewood.
The machine turned ten years of age this year. Still running strong - but overdue for an oil change.
Some snapshots of it performing some tasks...

Not one of my dogs.
This belongs to someone else. Oddly, it doesn't look like any of the coon hounds that are caught on camera from time to time. This pooch looks like a pit bull.
