Vino

At great risk of being labeled a cultural phiistine I admit to drinking wine out of a box.  Sure, you'll find bottled wine on the wine rack in the pantry yet for daily use wine generally comes from a box.  Merlot mostly.

Of course there is this box from the same vineyard (or is it boxyard?).  A glossier, bolder package containing what appears and tastes like a cross between a fine merlot, cabernet or similar red wine.

The pitch on this box is Vintner Select - Dark Red Bland Blend.  Which would explain why it tastes a bit like everything. 

It is a box of whatever was left - presented in upscale paperboard packaging.  Not bad either.....
