If you're like me this time of year offers a perfectly apropos chance to scratch the hunter-gatherer itch with stalking an elusive gobbler with romance on the brain.

Spring turkey opens with the Youth Hunt – April 13 – 14 followed by the regular season format as follows:

A — April 17 - 23
B — April 24 - April 30
C — May 1 - 7
D — May 8 - 14
E — May 15 - 21
F — May 22 – 28
