After thirty years the Alabama legislature recently lifted its yoga ban in schools.
Guidelines
include a written permission slip and a ban on instructors speaking any
and all Sanskrit words. Yes - under penalty of law - the legislature
forbids saying namaste aloud.
It is good to know that yoga won’t be sneaking-up on anyone in Alabama.
Raising a toast to tearing down the wall of culture wars one brick at a time.
Namaste, dammit!
