Ferdinand Lewis Alcindor Jr. (Kareem Abdul-Jabbar).
He
led his Power Memorial Academy high school team to three straight New
York City Catholic championships, a 71–game winning streak, and a 79–2
overall record. This earned him "The Tower from Power" nickname.
