From Spartanburg, South Carolina this group brought their bluesy, jazz-infused, southern rock mainstream in the early 1970s.  Toy Caldwell – lead guitar and vocals, Doug Gray – vocals, George Mc Corkle – rhythm guitar, Jerry Eubanks – flute, sax and keyboard, Tommy Caldwell – bass, and Paul Riddle – drums.  Remarkably, the band has recorded and performed continuously under various lineups for 45 years.  The band’s name is from an unconnected real person – a blind piano tuner from Spartanburg.  Rather fond Summerfest memories of seeing them perform.  The Marshall Tucker Band…
