Bounder!

I’ve been collecting some interesting trail camera photos lately including the new recruits of the resident deer herd. 

This is an interesting sequence of burst photos showing a fawn leaping thru the field of view and disappearing down a west-bound trail.

Then only a few moments later – hurtling back in the opposite direction. 

The whitetail deer is a marvel of adaptability and survivability - even as a newborn.  I wonder what spooked that deer?
