Break in the Cold Snap

Pleasant afternoon walk with the dogs.  Long sleeve T and a couple of layers of fleece and a ball cap.  It was 25 degrees.  If I didn't know better there seemed to be a whiff of spring in the air.  Positively tropical!  The Labs are pretty tough hombres and weather doesn't typically phase them but this polar vortex experience seems to have impacted them too.  Our trips outside for a potty break were double time.  And a couple of evenings ago the Blonde Dog declined an offer to venture out before bedtime.  That would be a first.  I digress.

Compared to the temps of the last three days we appear to have witnessed a fifty degree swing in temperature.

This is Jill from two days ago.  Trust me it IS her...

And this was my drive to the day job yesterday morning....

There is rain in the forecast for tomorrow late afternoon/evening.  Good thing.  Caked in a layer of salt - the automobiles look like they're masquerading as margaritas....
