My casual observation is if there was nefarious behavior involved such an investigation is the responsibility of the DOJ – not China. We investigate our own citizens. We do not ask other sovereign nations to conduct investigations of our citizens. Has Bill Barr ordered an investigation? Of course not. There's nothing there to investigate. But I digress.
You’re probably wondering why the President so openly taunted the Democrats who are already investigating him for seeking electoral assistance from a foreign power in private.
The short answer is this is classic Trump. Quite predictable to the discerning observer. Trump is engaging in what he has always done – normalizing bad behavior by publicly doing the very thing he is accused of doing in private.
Predictably his supporters approve.
