It was a miserable November on the jobs front.
Roughly half of the individuals who lost their jobs when Donald Trump tanked the economy have been rehired.
At this rate of growth it will take another 29 months to return to the previously robust February employment level.
It should come as no surprise that a large share of the unemployed have been out of work for a long time. The number of my countrymen unemployed for more than 27 weeks rose by 385,000 in November. Since only September, the number of these long-term unemployed is up by a crushing 1.5 million people — a 64 percent increase.
And while this is playing-out the president is playing golf.
