Sunday Afternoon Economics

Happy Spring people.

I figured I'd wait until afternoon to bring-up the tedious subject of budget economics and allow you some nap time to regain the hour of sleep that you were deprived-of last evening.

And to share with you the absurdity of balanced budget talk.

Here is what we know about the two likely candidates for the White House in 2024.  Both Biden and Trump have declared that Social Security and Medicare are off limits.  Defense spending too.

The 800 pound gorilla is the equivalent of a sacred cow.  Hands-off.  The most precious of primates.

If you recall the first chart from my March 5 post and you want to balance the budget like all of the careless talk in Washington nowadays then you have to do this.....
