September Night Skies

Looking for something to do at the close of a day of gardening or walking your dog?

Look to the west around sunset.  Early this month you may be able to spot the planet Mars (God of War) low on the horizon.  The brightest star in the evening sky, Spica, will be adjacent.

Don't fiddle fart as Mars will set within an hour this time of month and withing a half-hour by the middle of the month.  After which Mars will disappear until early next year.

Binoculars will be helpful.
