Changing of the Seasons

There is nothing better than the changing of the seasons.  Even spring - mud season - has its compensations.  Of course this fall has been like mud season.  

Rain, rain and more rain.  There is standing water everywhere.  

Sure, the dogs are muddy most all of the time but it is a small matter to order them into the ponds or creek to rinse-off.  Muddy problem solved.

And as much as I might grouse about the standing water and mud that pervades the landscape it's all good in the end.
