Opportunity Missed

Yesterday's post mentioned a doe that materialized briefly in the trail and vanished almost instantaneously.

It was like a ghost.

Only it wasn't a ghost.

I had moved a trail camera that same morning to a new location on a trail - the same trail that doe traveled.

Here she is.  I know it's the same deer because of the location and time stamp.  Just a few moments before shooting time...
