View From Above

Hunted last weekend from the Arm Pit deer stand.  I don't know exactly how it got this name but it's catchy for sure.  And a rather nice location.

Judging from these pictures you can see the swampy funnel that the deer like to sneak through.  I passed on a nubbin buck.

The stand needs some work.  Everything was in ship shape condition back in August but the storms that raged through left the Arm Pit with several dangerously loose boards.
