Last evening I had to get up to do what old guys have to do from time-to-time. Pee.
Nevertheless, I also used the opportunity to peek outside to see if the skies had cleared. Indeed, the rains had passed and the clouds were moving at a brisk pace to the south, southwest.
I snapped a pile of bracketed snapshots of the full harvest moon including this one. The distinctive bright planet in the upper left quadrant is Mars.
Likely because of its distinctive red color this planet is named for the Roman God of War.
