August Night Sky

 

Stepped-out on the porch last evening to check on the Sturgeon Super Moon. 

iPhone photography of celestial bodies is always hit and miss. Sure could use some clouds. 

Nevertheless, this was an acceptable composition. 

The tiny ‘star’ (center upper left) is Saturn. 

If I’m not mistaken there was a whiff of autumn in the air…..
