Interstellar Visitor

In breaking news - astronomers announced late Thursday that they’ve identified a chunk of stuff from another star passing through our solar system.

This is the very first time (at least since man has been chronicling the heavens) that we’ve caught an interstellar asteroid or comet visiting our neighborhood.

Scientists are temporarily calling the object A/2017 U1.  It is unclear if the object is made-up of rock, ice or both, but it’s about a half-kilometer in size and zipping through space at just over 40 kilometers per second.
