This tune was composed by Graham Nash while a member of the Hollies - although it was not recorded or performed by that group.
It was released in 1970 by Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. The original recording also featured Jerry Garcia on a pedal steel guitar. Who knew?
The single peaked at 16 on the Billboard Top 100 that year. An altogether memorable year for this blogger.
