I first saw Junior Brown in concert as an opening act for The Mavericks a couple of decades ago.  This artist is known for playing a double-neck instrument that he has dubbed the Guit-Steel.   The top neck of the device is a traditional six-string guitar - while the lower neck is a full-size lap steel guitar for slide playing.  Brown has placed twice on the Billboard country singles charts.
