Taking Flight

Having coffee this morning I'm performing a casual tally of the birds.

Dark-eyed juncos below the feeder, redwing blackbirds calling from the tree tops, a redbellied woodpecker on the feeder, bluebirds eyeing a nest box, robins hopping-about the yard, a bluejay passing through and a pair of Sandhill cranes picking around the big pond.

It's all good.
