And the first time this winter that the home-built snow Matterhorn has reached the same height as the garage door opening.
The plow guy hasn't run out of places to push the snow - just yet anyways.
Hard to believe that only a couple of years ago on this and the prior weekend the redwing blackbirds and cranes had returned.
Still have Juncos, Jays, Cardinals, Tree Sparrows, Gold Finches, Chickadees, three kinds of woodpeckers and turkeys in the yard.

There is hope for spring however. I spied an American robin yesterday too......
