Never released as a single in the states - today’s feature
is not a ‘break-up’ song – rather, a ‘rebound’ song.
Composed and recorded in his New Jersey home studio
in early 1987 this was included in Bruce Springsteen’s Tunnel of Love album. Always a favorite of mine it has a place
close to my own heart for all manner of personal reasons.
Country-folk artist Shawn Colvin performs a particularly
nice acoustic cover. Tougher Than the Rest…..
