A Mighty Wind

The temperature dropped overnight and today dawned with snow and wind.  A Mighty Wind.  With gusts of 40, 50 and reportedly 60 miles per hour.

Spent my day walking about after being chased out of three tree stands attempting to hide from the wind and seek a safe place to hunt.

Not happening for this old hunter.

New Guy dropped a nice buck earlier today.  And Android bagged a doe this afternoon.  Good for them.  My guess is the wind kept the deer hunkered down and plenty of hunters indoors.  A slow opener for sure.

I'm feeling a bit beat-up....
