Deer Camp - Preparations

Getting ready for deer camp the Deuce and I performed repairs on three of the home-built tree stands.

The Taj lost it's east railing.  It was reinstalled and reinforced with blocking and lag bolts.  The remaining railing was blocked and reinforced as well.

Whoever is hunting out of the Taj needs to remember to bring along a chair.

The Arm Pit stand got a replacement lag bolt to reinforce the railing above the ladder...

And Deuce and I took a sledge hammer to the east corner of the floor on the Creek stand to level it and block it in place.

Brush busting followed to provide for clean sight lines to deer trails we marked with fluorescent flag tape.

Six Deuce is a tree stand machine.  I told him that the guys at camp have to rub his feet for looking after their tree stand comfort and safety.
