Strange Encounter of the Deer Kind

I'm surprised I haven't posted this by now - so apologies for the delay.  Back in October my pal Six Deuce was lurking in the Armpit stand with his bow hoping to ambush another whitetail.  Little did he know what was about to unfold.

A wild turkey came along and presented a shot opportunity so Six Deuce took it.  Thinking he hit the bird but it ran-off a ways he dismounted and leaving his bow on the trail he commenced a search for a dead bird.

He never did find that bird and reflecting upon the shot he probably never got anything but a handful of feathers.  What he did get was this - a once in a lifetime priceless encounter...
