Bucks and Gobblers

A nice sequence of trail camera photos documenting the coexistence of both whitetail deer and wild turkeys.  It's true - they cohabitate and they cooperate.  The exquisite sniffer of the whitetail combined with the exceedingly sharp eyesight of the turkey (multiplied many fold if you have a flock) makes for an impenetrable defense against predators.

A large flock of turkeys moving thru and setting the stage...

A deer bounds into the frame from the west (right) and exits Stage Left...

Turkeys seemingly unfazed and going about their business...

And the same (or other) whitetails return and everyone goes about their business...

I should heed the advice of my hunting pals and place two or more trail cameras at the same location with slightly differing points of view and see what I can capture.
