Friday Music



Albert Leornes - Al - Greene, often known as The Reverend Al Green, is an American singer, songwriter and record producer.  Sometimes  referred-to as the last of the great soul singers Greene is remembered for composing early 1970s hits such as:  Take Me to the River, Love and Happiness, I'm Still in Love with You, Tired of Being Alone, and Let's Stay Together.  In 1995 he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and is ranked number 65 on Rolling Stone’s list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.  Wikipedia
