Advertising Doublespeak

Last weekend I mused about the sea salt grinders pictured above.

The grinder  on the right is empty and the newer replacement grinder on the left is full.  Both bottles are exactly 6.1 ounces net. They are the same.  Nevertheless, the new grinder is held-out by McCormick Spice as a Value Size.

I emailed McCormick and inquired as to precisely what value or quality allowed for the labeling of Value Size to be imparted-upon an identical bottle when by all outward appearances nothing had changed.

Here is the response from corporate - no extra charge for the stilted English language usage:
